My Lego

It’s always been there in the bedroom drawer,
waiting for assembly…waiting…waiting…
When I come near, the Lego becomes restless.
Assembled, it has the glamour of oneness.
Wholeness.
To the shape I model, it obeys,
different colours, sizes, shapes and textures.
I make amazing things with Lego in my hands,
houses, vehicles, cubes, art, weird things.
Geometric pieces made of plastic
It has limitations
being geometric
and being pieces.
You can’t make spheres or organic shapes
To simulate curves with squares you make squares a star pattern.
The simulation looks better from a distance
A mountain cottage took around 3 hours to make
and I used the mountain cottage to make movies
using the Lego moviemaker IOS app.
