I remember the dew drops,
Translucent pearls.
Clinging to the leaves.

I remember the slope of snow.
Sweeping down,
The mountain side.

I remember the sky,
A sea of glowing stars,
Shimmering gently.

I remember the wind,
Howling, buffeting and my hair bristling,
Like a bed of thorns.

I remember the sun,
Slivers of molten sunlight,
Spreading shivers of warmth.

All swirling in my necklace,
A locket of memories.
