My Minnie Mouse Ears

Along with my mouse ears,
Memories come flooding,
Of all the joy had,
For what’s more joy than Disney’s lands

My family and I, just kids,
As we enjoy our holidays,
Escaping from the prison,
The prison of reality.

Everything was colour,
People, feeling hopeful,
happily hopping, here and there,
the surroundings bursting with song.

Bing, bang, poof and laughter around,
My childhood in one place,
That is what they represent ,
My Minnie Mouse ears.
