My Nature Home

As lush green trees grow miles away,
Swaying gently like the river reeds,
Zephyrs blow across the forest,
Whistling amongst the verdant leaves.
New flowers bloom,
New growth sprouts,
Under Mother Nature’s protective gaze.
Strolling through the cool wood’s path.
CRUNCH!
Leaves crush under my feet.
The scent of belonging,
The scent of home,
Lingers,
Drifts,
Until it fades,
Into nothing.
Waterfalls crash,
Birds sing,
Leaving behind my worries...
My anxiety.
