My Pumice Rock

The rock lays on top of my drawer
It is as white as snow
It is as sandy as the seashore
and it is as small as a crow
I could hear it calling to me, when I picked it up at the beach
My rock is a fragile piece of glass
And the outside is as smooth as grass
My pumice rock is a brilliant, beautiful and bright rock
It is my talismanic object because it reminds me of my holiday to Rosedale.
