My Puppy-Dog Poem

Oh Puppies, Oh puppies, how cute you are,
You can smell me coming no matter how far.
You’re cuddly and soft and I know you love me.
You touch my heart, truly sentimentally.
You’re always angels all through the night,
But during the day you always play-fight.
Thank goodness for puppies, they’re cute as can be,
I love them so much because they understand me.
Their nicknames are Boofa, Turkey and Wuss,
And they all like to chase our young, frightened puss.
I love how they come so you can see,
How loyal that they can truly be.
I know they growl and bare their teeth,
To strangers that they don’t know underneath.
I know that they’ll never do that to me,
Because I care for them and they care for me.
My family loves the puppies because with their charm,
Any enemy they could disarm.
They mean so much to me,
Because when I got them they filled me with glee.
