My Ring

In my family for three generations.
Has an amethyst that shines with a surround around it.
9k and THL engraved into it.
Worth $500 but to me its worth much more.
A small lover, a finger hugger, a perfect fit.
Rests on my finger,
I wear it every day,
Some people say it's ridiculous,
But the memories it holds are everything to me.
So I will never lose it.
I got it from my mum who got it from her name.
Through generations it will go.
