My Ring

It shimmers in my heart,
and gives me joy.
You see it glimmer like gold on my finger,
and then you see my eyes glimmer too.
Have you guessed it yet?
It's my ring of course.

I have a happy feeling of a lovely laugh,
A giggle, a chuckle, or a 'ha ha'.
Smaller, bigger, louder, quieter.
Blue, pink, yellow, greener,
Made inside the beautiful heart.

People might think it's just a ring,
But I think not.
No ladies and gents,
It came from the best.
My great-nanna is so special to me,
I miss her so much.
She flew to heaven one night,
when I was sleeping softly inside.
