My special garden

I’ve got a garden, so green and lush
Every time I enter, my thoughts cease to rush
It’s an amazing place, so beautiful and vast
Run around, you’ll have a blast
The fountain trickles, a scent hits my nose
I take a deep breath, it must be a rose
The needles of grass tickle my feet
My shoulders and neck absorb the suns heat
I turn my head and gaze above
Gliding high, beautiful white doves
The delicate birds fly away
I wave my hand and say g’day
I hear a grumble, I feel uneasy
It hurts so much, I now feel queasy
There it is, red ripe and juicy
It’s dragon fruit, I tell my sister Lucy
My special garden is everything, it feels like home
Like a zooming creature making honeycomb
Cozy warm and safe, protected by the queen
My relationship with nature is like an evergreen
