When the rain comes there is so much fun,

But later we all say there is the sun.

Dry as a sand,

Where there is no band.

Yellow grass in winter,

Where you can’t get a splinter.

Spiky green grass growing in summer,

Tiny bugs for little kids to discover.

Tired silver bark,

That shines in the dark.

Fresh as a daisy,

Where you can feel lazy.

Moon that shines light,

All through the night.

Trees grow,

As we all grow.

As the rain falls, it drops,

It grows the sidewalk crops.

My special place feels so calm,

Before a sports game, it gives me a lucky charm.
