My Special Place

The sun dies in the horizon, as I slowly walk to the beach
I look out at the ocean, it's as calm as a still pond
My feet suddenly move towards the sea, as if a unexpected force was pulling me to the ocean
Then out of nowhere the waves emerged crashing down, as if the waves had teleported
They are huge towers falling to the ground with a mighty crash
Water spills into my mouth as i take a breath, it tasted like salt
I swim in the sea feeling calm and safe, like I'm at home
As the waves fly over me, they are birds soaring high
I slowly emerge from the water, climbing up the bank side
I'm as wet as mountain dew setting on a hill, as I sit on the sand which is sand paper
I really do feel one with the ocean, its wonders sooth me
I belong with the beach it's like my home
I am one with nature, I care for it, like it's my own
The oceans sacred, we must care for it, or it will be no more
All it's wonders will fade away into nothing, the ocean will be history
Yes the ocean will still be there, but all it's life will wash away to nothing
So look after the ocean, don't let its life fade away, it doesn't deserve that
