My Teddy Bear

My caring, cute, cuddly friend
hugs me in the dark of the night;
Sleep over, sharing secrets,
she plays and dances until dawn.

In tough, terrifying times
when I feel like crying
she talks to me
in a soft, calm voice
telling me I can go through
bad times
joyfully,
there is always
a good side to everything.
