My Tickets

My tickets look as old as ever
and they get older as more years pass.
They are really important to me
so important that I keep them locked away
in their little red box with the Chinese crest.
My tickets come in all shapes and sizes
and colours from pink to black.
They have been in their box,
ever since I saw them on the floor
and decided to collect them.
The memories of the events I have attended,
and performances I have given.
My favourite ticket is for the Sutherland entertainment centre choir performance that I participated in.
I can’t go a day without looking at my tickets if they weren’t in my life it would be as boring as ever.
I have tickets from all over the world passed down by my family and they will stay in my life for years to come.
