My Toy Dog Doggie

Mum was driving down the street,
and I was listening to the beat.
As she stopped at a corner,
I was left in despair.
As I looked so shocked,
the toy shop was there,
I hopped out of the car
and jumped happily,
As my mum said,
stop being a jelly bean.
I asked my mum why we were here,
and she said because I had been waiting all year.
I walked into the shop
so excited I could pop,
The toy I wanted was there.
I was so happy I jumped on a chair.
I took her off the shelf and hugged her tight,
And she didn’t even bite.
