My Toy Monkey

The light brown colour it has
Makes it more colourful.
The shiny eye it has
Makes it more real.
I like to sleep with it
With its warm body.
It’s a soft cushion that I won’t throw away.
The circle shape of its head
Makes it more cute.
It’s as soft as a baby’s skin
And smooth as a cleaned whiteboard.
It stays in my memory
Something I’ll never forget.
