My Trusty Ice-cream Machine

On hot, hot days that are hard to bear
If I want ice-cream, it’s right there!
I make the custard on the stove
Then tip it into the machine and it goes!
Then in forty minutes, the custard turns to ice cream, freezing cold
Even though the ice-cream machine is old!
Once my family finishes all the ice-cream, we make more
Coz ours is way better than what you get in a store!
