When I first saw it,
Its belly was as pink as the afternoon sunset,
Its face as white as snow and
Eyes warming my soul.

Large at first but
Soon to shrink as I grew.
It got a little more worn and torn,
But still my number one best friend.

It joined me on trips,
To the park, playground and on picnics.
Its name is Piggie,
The greatest thing since my first breath.

It kept me company
When I was lonely.
It made me happy
When I was sad.

Now it is worn out,
And put up on a shelf.
But whenever I need a hug,
Piggie is always there to help.
