Mystery Animal

If you think they are small so they are weak you are wrong.
They are able to run through the trees silently.
What about the fluffy tail?
The tail's important because it's for balance and warmth.
l have vibrant colours that are camouflage.
I run through the trees but l'm not able to be seen. 
I am sleeping in the branches of the mountain trees.
