The sun beams above the trees

Casting a shadow on all the things below

The animals are all graceful, like the bees

Who pollinate the flowers that glow

The crackle of the leaves

When the animals walk

But not the ants that are as quiet as thieves

Or the tranquillity of the flying hawk

Let’s not forget the ocean and its wave

Violent crashing on the rocky shore

Or the delicious fish we so crave

When the land meets the sea, their contrast impossible to ignore

But they all are connected

and part of an ecosystem

Called nature, which should be respected
