Dancing under the warm filtered sun,

underneath vast canopies of trees,

whirling arms stretched out wide,

I'm finally free to just be me.

Out in our backyard

Day transcends into night,

The birds are quite loud now,

the stars shining bright.

If only our trees could tell a story or two,

Would they share, only just a few?

So big and tall, one of nature's collectors,

Waving branches like endearing protectors.

We live amongst nature,

and must do our best,

to nurture and cherish,

renew and reset.

So next time you walk

amongst the trees in the park,

Stop for a moment

and think, what's your part?
