Nature

I sit here, watching the rustling trees,
The breeze calms me, calling me softly.
They whisper their treasured secrets,
Full of beauty yet full of sad, sad sorrow.
Oh, nature! Please guide me,
I take you for granted.
Without you, the world would be
But a wasteland of recklessness.
Hear me, Mother of Nature!
Forgive me, swallow my grief and I,
Embrace my sadness, move me so,
The flora and fauna, show it to me.
But know when the breeze comes round again,
When it blows me away for adventure,
I’ll never forget you as long as I live,
Be bold, be brave and thrive.
