I am an ant,

As small as can be

Even a plant,

Is bigger than me.

My perspective of nature,

May not be grand,

But my love is greater,

Than any man.

I love the way the soft dirt feels on my feet,

Smooth like a carpet though is where the earth and I meet.

I love the green grass, so long and tall,

But maybe it’s little to you because I’m so small.

I love all the roots in the ground,

Like veins for the earth,

I wish I could tell you about everything I’ve found,

But no words match their worth.

But what tops them all,

Is a seed, so simple and small,

It’s what brings us together, never brings strife,

A symbol, so full of growth and life.
