Nature in the Forest

The forest has secrets that cannot hide,

Trees sway, flowers ripple and the animals ride.

Wait for the night to rise and begin,

That is when the hunters get their animal skin.

As darkness falls and the light is no longer there,

Except for the animals who live in their lair.

Animals like bears, who hunt their prey down, 

When they are sleeping they are easily found.

Up till sunrise, the monsters pry,

Leaving their marks burning in the sky.

As the morning dawns the sun slowly rises, 

Feeling as though the day will be full of surprises

Beginning of a new day, 

Just spreading across the bay.

But the forest also rises from the folds, 

The new day will also show what great power nature holds.
