Nature poem

Dear Elder Wind,
We feel your soft kisses blow past
We hear your songs putting us to bed
We breathe in your icy mist
We hug the freshness of your love.
But why start fires on hot days,
When we need your soft breeze?
Why destroy our homes on violent days?
Why use such force when you can sing a lullaby?
Whisper to tell us.
