Nature Poems Four Seasons

Oh Super Summer
Your rays of sunshine make my gumnuts dance around me
You paint the flowers and boil the Sun
Warm, fun, noisy
I really love when you come.

Oh Wild Winter
You encourage the rain, make me shiver in pain,
You summon the clouds and send a shiver down my wooden log
Cold, windy, rainy, dull
Your strong winds bring my gumleaves to the ground.

Oh Awesome Autumn
Your beautiful colours and many layers of leaves scattered on the ground
You colour the leaves and cool the Sun
You lay a blanket of leaves around my trunk, my small gumnuts dropping on to it
Colourful, cheerful, crunchy and cool
Oh Awesome Autumn you truly are my favourite season.

Oh Special Spring
You splat the plants with colour and make the birds sing
Your warm sun cooks my gum leaves like cookies in an oven
Warm, sunny and delightful
It really is exciting when you visit.
