Nature Sonnet

The Earth is so peaceful, it is our home
With valleys of flowers, that shine so bright
Nature surrounds us like our very own
Our natural beauties that light at sight

Mountain ranges and thick forests to see
Flora and fauna thrive around the world
Seen above and below our wide vast sea
The elements it possessed swirled and whirled

A gift to fill our love, our soul, our mind
The buzz of the bees, the breeze through the trees
The warmth of the sun, the chill of the find
We stand with fulfilment and newfound ease

Only for the world to end tragically
It is too late to save us now, sadly
