Nature's green

Nature's first green is gold

People took great care

Nature’s second green is green 

People took no care

A few months flew

Nature’s third green is leaves turning orange and starting to wither

People forgot about them

Nature’s fourth green is no trees 

People couldn’t breathe 

People understood gold can’t buy life but planting trees can 

They convinced trees to come back, trees said yes with helpful eyes

Nature’s second green came and never went again

People were happy

Trees were happy 

I was happy
