The cars rushed past,

Conversations filled the background,

My mind was transported to the tropics of Thailand,

The trees swayed,

The waves crashed against the sand.

All was well.

No thoughts, only the melodies of nature.

The air was salty and crisp,

The birds tweeting and twittering,

The wind brushed slowly against my face,

It was peace at last.

The water's warmth was like a blanket, grasping you tightly,

The sky was changing shades,

Transforming into a graceful ombre,

Tranquillity came upon me.

The sun rested on my back, as though it was guiding me,

The sand had engulfed me, as though it didn't want me to leave,

I wasn't sure if I ever would.
