They call out to me

their tender voices, carry sweetly through the breeze.

I hum in chorus,

my gentle waters dance in the sunlight like a thousand ballerinas,

slowly making their way to the end of the riverbed.

The trees preach their daily hymns as they waltz with the melody,

each leaf chanting in tone with the harmonious buzz

the birds join in at the last verse,

their little beaks fill in the spaces with their melodious tune.

Every part of nature is alive in song,

but soon the ballad is brought to an end

and the next number begins.

Dark, dreary clouds form an ensemble in the sky

their dazzling streaks of lightning illuminate the sky as they pound the drums

the rain isn’t too far behind,

beginning the intense chorus with their incessant patter.

The composition, nearly reaching its climax

The once peaceful forest now an uproar of chaos.

A beautiful symphony of flora’s voices,

nature is an orchestra.
