The Earth is a priority

That we just take for granted,

There are signs to show

Earth’s anger and vengeance.

Weather as hot as the desert

Wild winds howling aloud woosh,

Measly fire turns into a beast

Coming when you expect the least

Escape while you can, hope for the best.

Grand, ghastly, gale forces all around

The breeze picking up things from the ground

Throwing lawn chairs up in the air,

A ballerina twirling high in the sky

The tornado is close and vicious.

Rain is gone, it seems like forever

The water is strictly rationed

Our vegetation is slowly dying

Waterholes shrivelled like prawn

The drought is obliterating us all.
