Night

As daylight falls
Night takes charge,
As many stars gather
The moon seems large.

As stars shine so bright in the sky
The moon radiates a celestial light,
As twilight shines which felt divine
The moon's silver surface is a fascinating sight.

I wonder where it goes in the day
When the sun is shining bright,
In the day when stars aren't visible
As the sun consumes the moonlight.

I stare at the sparkling moon
As stars shine their last starlight
The moon says, "I'll see you soon."
As daylight rises upon the horizon.
