No-one Ever Told Me

All I know are trees, leaves and plants,

No one ever told me they soon would disappear!

They say rainforests are being cut down,

I say save them while they are still here!

Trees are the breath of life for us,

I am aware the Earth shakes in fear!

Worried (as it should be) for the future of itself.

Connected to humans, we who adhere

To it, taking its life, counting down: 10, 9, 8, 7,

And when it reaches 0, the Earth will disappear!
