Its white dapples shimmer in the glow of the moonlight,

while predators await hidden the the dark of the scrub,

facing threats as bushfires burn quickly

and as the blistering flames demolish their homes,

as wild cats lower the population of the Northern Quoll

and bushfires destroy their homes.

What can we do to save these beautiful creatures?

As the numbers decrease and the ear-piercing screech fades

how do we fix the damage that we made?
