Not so Typical Seasons

The seasons are not so typical.
Yet the moons stay elliptical.
Autumn, Summer, Winter, Spring,
But the people are preferring,
Names like the fire season,
Of course, there must be a reason.
Why are fires raging through small towns,
And the cities becoming drowned?
By a thing called flooding seasons.
One of Earth's many treasons.
Rapids of water,
Bringing places to slaughter.
Not to mention the seasons of cyclones.
Houses being blown and thrown.
Then there's the hardship of drought.
Not much hope without,
The water needed for the daily lifestyle.
Farmers face constant denial.
Whether it be feeding livestock,
Or growing the crop on their block.
The seasons are not so typical.
