Nowhere is safe

Hunted daily

Nowhere is safe 

I cannot trust anyone or anything

Life is not always fair for northern hairy-nosed wombats

Never feeling safe around my children or in my burrow

Dingoes lurking outside my house

Waiting for an opening

Sleep doesn't come easy anymore 

As the days go by the dingoes start to grow hungrier 

Their mouths and teeth start to dig bigger holes in my burrow

Will I survive? More importantly, what about my children?
