A sky clothed in raged delight,

Twisted knobs,

Sunlight through translucent glow.

Frostbidden starlight turns to sunrise,

Each leaf a kindled flame,

Ethereal shine of golden shadows.

Molten gold filling cracks,

The light of glowing suns.

Frosted spirals of twilled bark,

Twirling knobs of earth-brown dark.

Bright and sprightly,

Springtime in winter.

An age-old oak,

Coded as autumn,

A veil of grey-blue beyond.

Autumn glow on a summer sky,

Birdsong of spring,

Along a calm winter drift.
