Ocean

I look up at the sky, and reach for the stars
The ‘howling’ sound of the wind, and it brushing up against my face
The horizon in the distance, as I touch my scars
My eyes water, causing tears to fall off
I wander around, looking for my sense of belonging
Then I get the sand in my mouth, and its taste
There it is, my sense of belonging
The sun has gone over the ocean,
Every cell in my body gets inflamed with the rush
The stars in the sky multiply
The moon’s face makes me blush
The ocean’s beauty increases in a brush
I look back at the sky
And notice how the sun has passed over the ocean
