Becoming one with sand
A bodiless row of spectators
Sleep hidden in ocean’s depths.
Isolated, Motionless.
Jealous of underwater creatures
Free to weave, to dive
Through brilliant blue.
They lie expressionless
Serene, contemplating.
Exiled in loneliness.
Sacrificed to golden grains.
Resigned to their fate.
Broken, decaying
Trapped in the wash of sea
Beaten by aggressive tides
Eroded.
