An introduced species to Australia.

Once wild, but highly valued,

by Aboriginal Stockmen.

Their rivers of mane and tail,

hooves like drumbeats.

Small in size, but large in loyalty.

Over the years, they've come to be

mistreated and disrespected,

only loved by a few.

They're a loving creature,

with heart

and hope.

But now we chase them.

Hurt them.

Injure them.

Starve them.

Traumatize them.

It's time for a change.

I am speaking,

for the brumbies.
