One Great Friendship

As brown as chocolate he runs
around playing with his toys and barking.
Two big brown eyes looking at me as
I eat my lunch. As I stroke his head I
smile and remember the one amazing year we
Have spent together so far.

The way he wags his tail and the way
he pokes this ears up. The way he comforts me
when I am upset and the way he stares at
meas I walk through the door after a long hard
day at school that is why I love him.

The day I got him was the greatest day
Of my life. As I carried him into the car
I thought about all the memories we would
share until the end. The start of a great
Friendship.
