Oh how well you blend into the saltmarsh,

How you disapear into the lime green,

As you fly your dark blue wings make an arch,

You spot seeds from afar with eyes so keen,

Oh your turquoise framed royal blue eyebrow,

How it contrasts so well with your green body,

Your voice just like a hypnotizing sough, 

Your colourful body never gaudy,

Oh how you migrate across the Bass Strait,

To spend the winter months on the mainland,

Then you fly straight back in such a good state,

And how you seem to vanish on command,

Your belly the colour of a carrot,

Hope you're well Orange-Bellied Parrot.
