In the wilds of Australia,

Where the Orange-bellied Parrot once flew,

Now there's only silence,

Where once its vibrant colours drew.

This bird so rare and lovely,

With feathers of green and white,

Is now on the brink of extinction,

A sad and sorry sight.

The Orange-Bellied Parrot,

Once a treasure of Aussie land,

Is now in danger of disappearing,

Without a helping hand.

So let us work together,

To save this little friend,

And keep it safe and thriving,

Until the very end.

For if we do not act,

This species will slip away,

We'll lose a precious part of nature,

With no hope of ever seeing it again someday.
