Brown, burnt, bark on the forest floor,
I rush to open the tied up door.
Slowly, carefully, creepily, full of fears,
I smell burnt ashes from the fires.

New generation, things turn old.
Animals suffer and coal gets sold.
Numbat, Eastern Curlew, Northern Quoll,
not many left because of human control.

As waves roll in, technology boomed,
as waves roll out, species are doomed!
The koalas are crying, “We need sustainability”!
While Australia’s PM was going to Hawaii.
