Our Creek

As the water flows down the swollen rocky bed,
Looking like a majestic pony running freely,
I creep carefully along the creek bed and then,
Splish! Splash! As I run across,
I sit silently staring at the dragonflies as they dip and dance in the dappled sunlight 
Lizards lounge lazily on the warm rocks surrounding me,
The beauty of this place dances around my heart.
