Our Home Land

In the home land the gumtrees dance,
In the home land the kookaburras laugh,
In the home land the kangaroos leap through the tall grass,
In the home land koalas hold on tight.
The wild wind blows which takes you to the oceanfront,
The water is clear as glass,
Colour fills your eyes as fish scurry around the bottom of the ocean.
Waves crash on the golden sand,
The sun burns bright through the land.
The land echoes with danger,
The outback sun sets you on fire,
Lurking fast,
Slithering sneaky beware of the snake,
Dangerous and deadly,
Home of the good and mysterious.
My home.
Your home.
Our home.
This is Australia.
