Our Little Wombat Warriors

In the Aussie bush where the fires raged wombats dug deep like a winner on stage. Their claws like shovels tore through the ground, creating a place where safety was found. Through smoke, ash and fire they found their way round, guiding all creatures with their wisdom abound. Their small but wise minds put up a fight, against the big fire spreading a-sight. Their furry brown backs acted as shields, as they guided the animals to their safe builds. Now as fire spread all creatures were safe, thanks to the kind-hearted wombats who welcomed into their place. So let's all give a cheer for our heroes so brave, the firefighting wombats who saved the day. In times of despair they taught us to fight with courage and love. We'll make everything right.
