Weeds,

they watch our gardens all day and all night,

you might think they’re bad,

but they can be precious life.

Each weed touching the next weed.

Each weed bigger than the next.

They stand up straight,

and lean on some days.

They collect moisture in their own way.

“Weird plants,” you might say,

but a weed won’t know that.

It’s glad that weeds aren’t a threat.

They don’t invade your gardens,

they don’t worry about a divorce.

They can only stay in one place, unlike us.

They’re a living thing or what you call a garden plant, so they snap in half with sap as blood spilling out.

Unfortunately, when they snap, the weeds suffer a loss.

That weed sadly perished.

You might wish that they would stop giving you grief and make you feel anguished.

But think again, what is really going on when you ruthlessly snap a weed in half?
