Pain

Pain and suffering all around
As parched leaves drift gently to the ground.
The muddy, choked river rushes in confusion
Filled to the brim with man’s pollution.
Human race just lazes around
Not caring for a solution to be found.
The forest lets out a cry for help
A distant, desperate, last minute yelp.
A last resort, a hopeless call
An SOS of the trees before they fall.
Deforestation causing habitat loss
Animals desperately feel the cost.
As ancient trees' birthdays near
Branches descend and birds shed a tear.
With global warming and constant pollution
Man needs to find a rapid solution.
So while the forest is in a commotion
Let's take action against this horrid motion.
Human race has so much to gain
Salvage the forest from this pain.
