The salty water brushes my tongue

As I step into the cold water and I feel a shiver down my spine

Waves crash into a million pieces of white foam that drift along the beach

I jump onto my board and duck dive under a white wave

It tumbles me like a dishwasher and I arrive out the back

I sit on my board and wait for Mother Nature to give me a wave

And waves drift me up and down like a rollercoaster

The sunrise is beautiful reflecting orange on the water

I take a deep breath and watch the sun come up

The sun beams warmth into the water

I pick up a wave and glide across the face

The wave is bumpy as I watch the lip come over my head

I do some slow pumps and pick up some speed

I glide across the beach, the perfect wave

And I rise up to the top of the wave

Tathra Beach, dreams do come true

The perfect wave the perfect place

Paradise on earth, Tathra Beach.
