Passion Fruit Vine

                A delight to Cairns with their collection of vines.         

It's so gorgeous, tasty and divine.

Everyone developed an addiction,

When people cooked it in their garden kitchen,

little globes of purple shine.

Sunbirds flock to their frilly flower,

The nectar inside they devour.

Spreading golden balls of pollen,

The ovary flower is now swollen.

The sweet and the sour define their power.
